Wow, I never saw this coming. They've made it fairly clear before they want none of Vitali. Mormeck though? Isn't he pushing 40 himself? I also thought that if he got out of the Chagaev fight because of the hep B then Boystov or Povetkin would become his mandatory too

Means he's still on course for a dramatic retirement fight with Holyfield in October then. If this is true then fuck them both. Its like Chisora said, boxing won't miss Haye when he's gone if he's having fights like this

Povetkin would be the biggest fight in this list. He was injured, but im sure he would be ready for May IF there comes an offer and Atlas lets him fight.
If not Povetkin, THEN this Helenius guy would be better than an OLD Mormeck

Boytsov says he is OK now -- he'd demolish Haye so that won't take place.

They will fight in Paris and convince the French it is a megafight with Mormeck.

Booth and Haye are carnival barkers.

What makes you think that a relatively unproven guy like Boytsov would 'demolish' Haye?

Yeah, and Audley and Ruiz are both 39.
To use the excuse that he could lose the next fight is just ridiculous too. So could Wlad. Anyone entering a ring "could" lose their next fight.

Vitali is the more respected brother, and Booth and Haye know it.
Agreed with those that said fuck Haye/Booth.

Lyle will argue til the end of time that Wlad is better...thats why Haye wants to fight Wlad because he wants to fight the best is what he will say. Haye dont want none of big bro. Shit Vitalis two losses were due to injuries, and he was up on the cards both times.

Mormeck is a shit fight but you can't expect them to take a fight with someone who has already got another fight lined up. Anything can happen in that fight such as a bad cut/injury or even worse defeat and where does that leave them??

Haye is scared of Vitali, is the main point here.

Prime for prime, Vitali was undoubtably the better fighter, but I think Wlad is better today.

It doesn't matter who is better what matters is the WBA title holder and his manager have proven themselves to be no different (in regards of who they chose to fight) than former title holders Nicolay Valuev and John Ruiz and its a shame for the sport and its fans and its sad to say but the guy is still untested at heavyweight and that is 100% FACT!

He has yet to fight a heavyweight under age 36, yet to fight a prime heavyweight, yet to fight an undefeated heavyweight, yet to fight a heavyweight power puncher.

Its pathetic the guy even has a title, a rematch vs Mormeck would be garbage. I honestly hope they are just trying to get out from under Sauerland's thumb, but its not like I ever expected a unification fight vs either brother was going to be a close fight.
