    A ridiculous post. I don't really understand it. There are a few very good articles on this. Thomas Hauser wrote one. Check it out. Showtime and HBO have increasingly similiar audience numbers and CBS said it would get involved in the promotion, which will increase ppv sales. Meaning more money. And Arum was bitter at how HBO treated Cotto etc.

    I think the original poster is looking waaaay too much into things - especially considering money had nothing to do with Pac vs Floyd not being made.

    That could be the reason, but how often is the reason given the truth? Hardly ever, and they are going into this blindfolded because nothing has duplicated the ppv numbers generated between hbo and their 247 series

    Maybe Arum is showing how much of a genius he really is. Forget the Cotto crap. Arum is setting up a major co-promo by Showtime and HBO just the Tyson vs Lewis fight. GENIUS!!!

    I really don't know, but would be a smart move if he's really thinking that way.
