Froch went up in my estimation in his last fight. I knew he was tough but I didnt know he had those skills to totally outclass a world class fighter like Abraham. Ward went down in my estimation. Nobody looks good vs Bika but Ward had everything in his favour yet again but still couldnt showcase himself. After 6 rounds it was still anybodies fight but the decision was never in question.

Stylistically Froch matches up well against Ward. He wont have to go looking for him like he did against Dirrell because Ward needs to get close to land those headbutts and he also likes to wrestle and impose his strength. I cant see him beating Froch at that game who gave as good as he got vs Pascal. Ward might have to switch styles when he realises he cant rough Froch up and will revert to backfoot boxing. Carl isnt as adaptable and will press the action making it look like Wards outboxing him. After a close 12 rounds, Ward wins a landslide decision.
You can't compare ward to pascal he's a way more complete fighter. Ward beat bika nearly every round and at his own game. Ward could have easily outboxed him but chose not to. Physical strength means hardly anything when talking about a guy muscling another in this case. Froch has a poor base and balance which is far more important, and where ward far surpasses. You also make the mistake in thinking ward just leads in with his head. Please actually watch his fights. It's just what happens when you move your whole body forward and you slip in the way he does. It's as much the opponents' fault as his own, because they simply stand there and leave their head right there to be hit like kessler. He's controlling the space of course his head will be coming in, why would you leave your head to be hit? But froch has such poor footwork that he will caught when ward moves in when he's not in stance
