I see a similar type of fight to the 1st. Kessler would have been well rested but Froch would have further miles added to his clock after wars with Johnson and Ward.
Froch took it to another level in the Abraham fight but he has problems dealing with someone with Kesslers strength. Carls used to being the tough guy in the rig but when he met Mikkel he was forced onto the backfoot and made to stay there. It wasnt the best of Mikkel but he still did enough to win even if the margins were abit wide. If an off form Kessler is good enough to take Carls zero I think a revitalised Kessler will be able to beat an older Froch if they rematch. Kessler UD.
I honestly don't think that was the best kess, his 1-2 just wasnt as sharp as it usually is and he still won the fight. If they meet again I see something very much similar to the first fight except with kess wining much more clearly. You have to think kess will have had a 1 year break in between while froch will most likely have been in grueling fights with johnson and ward.
Mikkel Kessler wasn't at his best either, he hasn't been the same since before the Joe Calzaghe fight. I really don't know how anyone had Carl Froch winning either, it was a closish fight but Mikkel Kessler still won a clear decision.
And i know punchstats don't always tell the whole story, but the punchstats agree with what i see. Mikkel Kessler was the aggressor landing more punches, where as Carl Froch was cautious landing one punch at a time mostly, until he upped it somewhat in the later rounds. Also Mikkel Kessler was able to rock/hurt Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler never appeared hurt in the fight.
Kessler - Total Thrown: 765, Total Connects: 147 (19%)
Froch - Total Thrown: 546, Total Connects: 98 (18%)
Kessler won the first in my opinion, very hard to predict how he'll return though after the time out. As others said, Froch has grown and learnt from previous fights, and the activity in itself will be a huge bonus and boost. Especially if he won the super six, confidence would rocket.
Regardless of Kessler's inactivity and such I'm sure it'd be a close and hard to call fight. Would like to see it, Carl seems the hungry sort that that would love to get rid of the blemish on his record.

Personally, Kessler was for me the best super middleweight before his fight again Calzaghe. And even if most analyst find Kessler too predictable, I'm pretty sure 2011 will be a great year for him. So I'll go with Kessler by KO in the late round if he were to fight Froch again.

Froch wins a fairly close UD, something like 116-112, just like he should have last time.

same result Froch loses only much quicker ko.

I know for a fact Froch has really worked on his swimming since the first fight , so he wins the return easily.

If Kessler is in a good shape, I would say another UD over Froch in a competitive close fight.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Im not debating this again i really haven't got the time or energy, you bring this up alot. And i've already showed you time and time again why i had Mikkel Kessler winning, i didn't think it was that debatable.
It was a closish fight but Mikkel Kessler edged it for the majority of the boxing fans, Carl Froch simply didn't work hard enough end of.
