And to think....Cotto will still manage to lose![]()
in your opinion
Try not to strain your feeble brain as I explain something to you:
When you preceed your quote with the word "hopefully"... and you mention Cotto struggling with his shoulder surgery... that pretty much explains itself. Does it not? Can you at least man up and admit you said that? Or do you try to win all your arguments with "funny" phrases and insults?
Here's the facts as I see them:
1. You're a Cotto hater, although you admitted to having seen none of his fights.
2. You're not a true boxing fan, 'cause you want a boxer to go into the ring injured.
3. You're an idiot... 'cause you say stupid stuff and then deny having said them.
If you want to get technical about it... the second "sentence" is not really a full sentence, is it. Read it out loud, and it sounds just like it was meant:
Hopefully hes knuckling down and smashing sparring partners up as we speak, carrying on the momentum from his last fight, while Cotto is struggling to hit the pads because of his surgery.
But no matter... obviously we've beaten THIS one to death.
An even more telling fact is that you've admitted to watching close to none of Cotto's fights, and yet you harbor such an intense dislike.
Stop whining!
I have seen some of his fights but only when he's been on shows where iv wanted to watch another fighter. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to watch him at 4am. The only reason I'll watch his next fight is to see what his opponent will do to him.
He has a dull style, like a turtle in his shell moving sideways. He doesn't have a dynamic style that goes out of his way to look for a knockout. When a fight goes his way the action gets slowed down. He doesn't have the style or strength to deal with stronger aggressive fighters. Steward will certainly be on tender hooks for this fight, not only does he already realise that Mayorga is big and strong enough to cause the upset but he has slated Mayorga in to the ground when he has commentated on his fights, only giving him begrudging praise.
The thing that worries me is Mayorga's size advantage over Miguel, I think Mayos fight night weight against Mosely was 170 lbs. Miguel probably weighs between 156-160 lbs come fight night.

Look, if you are annoyed with yourself for never having the balls to step up and compete, it's not too late. You have until your 34th birthday to compete at amateur. They are also now bringing out a masters for boxers up to 40 but that might be only if you have previous bouts. Failing that, there is White collar boxing which I think is open to anyone from 25 to 55. Give it a go, at least you will have some experience in a competitive match to call upon when thinking about how a fighter feels.
Can anyone translate what is being said here?

Saw a picture of them back to back and Mayorga didn't look too in shape like he hadn't stayed in the gym. So right there I'm not sure how he does with Cotto, but he looking at the side by side pic I think Cotto might take this. I just dunno if Mayorga has it not keeping himself in the gym while being off for a year.
