What people amazingly don't seem to understand is styles make fights, even worse people seem completely incapable of realizing which styles fit well against which other styles. Mosley looked very bad against Mayweather, but everyone wanted Pacquiao to fight Mosley, and somebody asked on here who was beaten worse by Mayweather, everyone agreed that Marquez was beaten worse. Even after the second round, MOsley made Mayweather fight and beat him up, he brought out the best in Floyd. Marquez was simply a toy that Mayweather played with. He looked like he could almost fall asleep against JMM, but he stayed far more focused the entire time against Mosley.

People are argueing that MArquez's style is made to beat Pacquiao's, but why isn't Mosley's? Mosley has problems with boxers and guys who can hit him and get away, but Pacquiao isn't that type of fighter. Manny is very fast, he can counter well, and he throws limitless combinations from every conceivable angle while constantly moving, but he isn't always in balance and he's there to be hit. Marquez was effective because he either beat Manny to the punch or he moved just out of range and came back with his own assault, and that's how Mosley also fights. The more punches you throw the better off Mosley is because he can begin to anticipate what you are doing. He isn't a boxing savant, and he doesn't quite read the opponent at the level guys like mAyweather, Hopkins, and Whitaker do, but he does read a guy well enough that with what Manny does, he will be able to counter and in some cases lead.

Now I don't think Mosley will likely win, but I think he will make it an excellent fight. Also he is a tremendous body puncher who hits much harder than MArgarito, and unlike what some people are saying there is no evidence that he is a front runner. Just because Mayweather had him baffled doesn't mean he will run out of steam after 2-3 rounds against Manny. I mean look at MArquez he was a complete warrior and a beast when it comes to stamina, and he gave up after 3-4 rounds against Mayweather as well. It's hard to get going when a guy is picking you apart and he isn't there for you to retaliate.
