I really don't understand why he won't take the offer. The man would be making double what he made for what is 95% likely to be less than 3 minutes of work.

Well i think he'd last 3 or 4 rounds. Even then, on a round by round basis he'd technically be earning 4x as much as he did in his last fight.

Not sure what the deal is really. He'll be fighting in prizefighter in 18 months time anyway. May aswell cash in now.

I believe the main problem with that deal is the rematch options. If McCloskey wins, he fights Khan again for a set cash amount on their promotion. Basically he has to beat Khan TWICE for probably less than £200,000. While Khan would cash in even coming off a loss (all these figures could be way off ).

I agree, everyone is saying that this McCloskey character should take the deal but if he does win he should be able to cash in on it and not be handcuffed by Khan regarding his promotion and money.....gtfoh
