Going out on a limb, there... JR?
That's ONE bet I'd make with my eyes closed. Bradley's good.... JMM is an ATG.
Marquez is such a great boxer he couldnt win one round against Floyd. He's a brawler more than boxer once he get hit he goes into brawl mode.
JMM is always at his best when fighters come after him. When someone pushes the tempo (like I think Bradley would) with Marquez, Marquez responds everytime by pushing it even more. If I was Marquez I wouldnt try to add to many pounds come fight night. I see JMM schooling Bradley on the inside with a late stoppage.
He wasn't effective when mayweather came at him, it's different having a walk you down type fighter and timothy Bradley
Coming at you. First off he doesn't slowly plod in like katsidis or juan Diaz did. I like them both, but they allowed Juan Manuel Marquez to line them up and tee off on them coming in. A guy who just keeps his hands up and exhibits not upper body movement will be picked apart by JMM. But Bradley like Hopkins doesn't just come in wide open even if it almost looks that way. He is actually very hard to hit when he's coming in and he has really good defensive skills. He may get wild at times but that's usually when he has broken his opponent in that moment and they can't return with anything because they are fully in defensive mode.
There is like a huge difference between Mayweather and Bradley. I'll give you Katsidis. But Diaz was never a plodding type fighter. Take away the huge dome on Bradley and you got a pretty similar style between Bradley and Diaz. And we all know how Marquez handled Diaz. Bottom line is this. I like Bradley. He's grown on me a little. He's a fine fighter. Very good actually. But Marquez is a great fighter. He's also smarter than Bradley. There is nothing Bradley can come at him with that he hasn't already seen and dealt with.
