Whay floyd needs is a good lawyer :-)
The only thing Mayweather needs is for Pacquiao to either take the tests or get off the juice. That's all he needs
He also needs to get rid of those who are currently giving him counsel and advice. He needs to shed Senior, Roger, Leanard, but go out and get Jeff who has his head on right.
His entourage does him no good whatsoever as those hip hop parties at his mansion are reflecting. He knowes better, but apparently he has a short fuse in public. I can remember when he was back in Grand Rapids helping poor people by giving out food on Thanksgiving. Whatever happened to that Floyd? Vegas I guess--and his own paranoia and fear of losing his "0."[/QUOTE]
How many fighters of note, Legends, hall of famers, all time greats, retired undefeated? You need only to take one glove off, to count them. Mayweather is not the only modern boxer to share the strange misconception that cherry picking oponents and fighting once or twice a year to preserve a "0" will be enough to cement a legacy amongst men who fought 5,6,7 times every year against the best in their respective divisions.
A good ass-kicking. Then maybe he can stop dancing with the stars, wrestling with 400-pound guys, cherry-picking opponents... and get that hunger that only comes when you have to re-vindicate yourself in the eyes of the boxing public. He would stop worrying about his damn "0", and become a fighter, not a prancer. That's what he needs: a good ass-kicking.
I always thought he was protecting that 0 by hopping over 140 at the time.
Then again I thought 140 at that stage could of been a hiding place with most of the action at 147, but you have to note who he fought at 147 and who he could of at that stage gone after and were some picked to protect the 0 once again?
thing is, after the Mosley fight i think Mayweather would come back even stronger after a loss, i mean we finally saw him hurt in that fight (and badly at that) and he just recuperated and then started to come forward pounding out Mosley, did no running and still dominated the guy, i honestly think he'd be even more driven after a loss cause i'm one of the few that actually think Mayweather has that fighter's instinct but chooses to use his head to ignore it and stick to his technical advantages
