Looking like he's been enjoying himself since his fight against Marquez.

wow wtf, looks like he aint been taking care of himself.
Wow. On that last picture, his collar is so tight it's nearly swollen his eyes shut!
When him and Gamboa finally meet, I think Gamboa will maul him.

Maybe he has been kickin around with some US heavyweights at BBQ's and stuff. Maybe a few grilled steaks with Eddie Chambers, or a Burger & Beer session with Arreola and his boys.....
his last fight was in November, you know damned well he wasn't training during the holidays, so it's pretty understandable that he's that big right now when he just signed to fight Salido, it won't have an effect on the fight or it's outcome
Juanma is gonna do a payback to Gamboa for the Mtagwa spectacle by beating the shit out of a usually durable Salido
I don't know why you are ready to make excuses for a fat fighter when you slander Arreola, Solis, Toney...
Truth is he should be maintaining his weight. You think people just put 15 pounds on every holiday or something? This can affect the outcome of the very next fight. Skill wise, he is leagues above a lot of the people in his division, but what do you think is going to happen when he konks out against a fighter with a more dangerous punch that Mtagwa?
Nobody had Yuri Foreman with a snowballs chance against Daniel Santos. Nobody gave Litzau a change against Caballero. Both of these fights results were a product of a bloated boxer.
Point is everyone has flaws, and it is up to their opponent to expose them.
Good luck to Salido, he's going to need it.
"Floyd needs to inject Xylocaine into his balls to gain the courage to fight Pacquiao."
- and I quote from some random guy on the internet
Looks like he stuck his face in a hornets nest. Good measuring stick for proposed Lopez vs Gamboa match, Salido is no push over and can see him giving more traditional Lopez some problems.
making excuses? it's a fact to why he's at that weight, and since when has Juanma had weight problems? never
Arreola, Solis, and Toney all have one thing in common, they break their own record pretty much every fight, and that record is career high in how much they come weighing in on the night of the fight
Lopez was only rocked by Mtagwa because he was having trouble with the weight so he moved up, he's had zero problems at 126 now and his showings have proven it, as for fighting a heavier hitter umm he just fought Marquez, one of the biggest puncher's in that weight class in the last 10 years and although rocked he was never even dropped, he also pounded out your boy Concepcion in 2 and apart from a flash knockdown he did it with ease
as for Foreman he was a live underdog against Santos, people started picking him over Cotto and we saw how that played out, Caballero wasn't that good and apart from beating Yordan and Molitor he's beaten no one yet he had the mentality of being a god compared to Litzau and he took the fight lightly, and again since when has Lopez gone into the ring not in shape?
Juanma wins by devastating KO to take his lead against Gamboa one step higher
The thing that most people don't really take into consideration is that most of these guys don't walk around at the weight which they box at.
Even the most disciplened like B-Hop looks a bit cheeky during his time off when he's not training for a fight.
It's only natural.
JuanMa looks fine to me...
Now "Fatton" in between fights is another story...
