Default Will Ricky Hatton make come back??

Think Ricky Hatton will get a come back fight?I know he was withdrawn from his boxing licence but i know he requested it back and wanted to make a come back fight sometime this year, thats what i read last year before xmas but i've heard nothing since.I dont blame him making a come back, but i also would'nt blame him if he did'nt.I mean the way he fought against Manny Pacman was just wrong tactics and all of his defences and head movement during that bout was way out of Hatton's normal fighting stance.Wether it was because he knew he was going to lose before the fight or just upset of what happened in the changingroom before the fight,or wether it was because his reflexes from old wars from previous fights caught up on him.I'd like to watch him come back with a few decents fights, maybe 3 before he retires for good. What do you folks reckon?

No I don't think he will. He's mentioned on a couple of TV shows recently that he's retired, but he's never officially announced it. He doesn't have the desire for it anymore, so he should just get out of the game competing-wise and concentrate on promoting.

he fought the wrong tactics against manny yes

the main reason he lost so badly was because his punch resistance had gone

as his style relies so heavily on punch resistance i think he should stay out of the ring

having said that i would be watching if he came back

I would like to see him in 1 last fight but his time has past and wouldnt want to see him hurt again.

The Mayweather defeat took everything out off Hatton imo. He fought decent against Malignaiggi but i believe he was past his best against a poor Malignaiggi. After the Mayweather fight the signs were there for every1 to see that Hattons punch resistance wasnt what it was.

    I don't think he'll come back. I hope he doesn't come back.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did come back.

I miss him to be honest. Nothing got me as excited when hatton was fighting. Saying that tho I hope he stays retired for healths sake.

If he did come back it would be ugly, he can't take a good punch any more and he's not going to be able to make 140 no matter how much time you give him and even if he did make 140 his chin would be even worse than ever before.

I suggested he take a "Farewell Fight" in England after the Pacquiao fiasco but his heart wasn't in boxing for a time after that.

A fight vs Witter makes the most sense, but one vs Khan would make more money, but he'd lose again. I think at this point in time a fight vs Freitas, Morales, or JM Marquez wouldn't be horrible but they'd be a big ask for him.

Prime Hatton vs Prime Judah would have been good, as would a Hatton-Gatti fight.

A Hatton comeback is a stupid idea IMO. This is probably gonna sound even more ridiculous, but even though I say bad idea, I still can't rule out in my mind a Ricky Hatton vs Oscar De La Hoya. I know they wanted it, and its all about the Benjamin$ of course.

Could GBP pass it off and would people buy it, that's the question..

His punch resistance was never great. It was just a myth that was exaggerated by the fact Tszyu didn't hurt him. He's been hurt plenty of times in his career, but he's been let of the hook. Pacquiao and Mayweather are too good to let that happen!

He has trimmed down and that will be good for his health but cannot see him fight again, even as a final farewell.

Does anyone know exactly what happened with Floyd Sr and Ricky? Didn't he fall out with his other trainer? I was never sure.

I wouldn't have blamed him for coming back and wanting to leave his career on a better note than getting sparked by Manny, but I think it's been too long and he let himself go too much to be able to do it. Wouldn't surprise me if he did but I hope he stays retired
