Boxing champion Tyson Fury's father jailed for 11 years for gouging man's eye out

I remember an old thread in the Let's get it on section where Skel was talking about how he did his prison time in the UK. It sounds to me like camp Snoopy. Playstations, playing pool, having cellphones, Tvs, MP3 players, laptops, conjugal visits (basically being able to fuck your wife or gf), being able to play soccer/football, all on the government's expenses. So it's not really he's going to do time.

Hell if I had no job skills and no job and was a UK resident, I think I would like to commit a crime in the UK (something like assault with a deadly weapon on someone I hate) and get sent in a few years in a UK prison and just kick back and relax on the government's expenses.

So he announces to everyone that he is the toughest man on earth and then starts blubbing when a judge announces his punishment?

I do feel sorry for Tyson, 'sins of the father' and all that. Tyson has been in the media quite a bit trying to explain that what everyone is seeing in that 'Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' series is a stereotypical view of the Gypsy life and not representative of the travelling community.. Then his Dad goes and gouges out a man's eyeball over a feud involving an 11 year old bottle of beer and those stereotypes suddenly don't seem so far from reality.

After one look at John Fury's boxing record (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...7680&cat=boxer) it appears that far from being the 'toughest man on the planet' he was not even the toughest man in the Brodsworth Miners Welfare Club in June 1989!

8 wins, 0 knockouts and 4 losses?? Surely the toughest man on the planet would at least have a punch on him? Thats probably why he traded in his fists for his fingers and started living through his son's glories..
