Arce had some exciting fights but he was garbage. He was a bit like Gatti, exciting but even less skilled.

Donaire would treat him like a sparring partner.

Arce wasn't great at anything but he was far from being garbage, he fought the best and no matter what put in his best effort, but hey look who i'm talking to

Vasquez Jr. is another guy getting overhyped because of his name. Arce will be the toughest guy he's fought, even at this advanced stage of his career.

I have same thoughts. I think Arce will bully him around and make him engage unnecessary exchange.

apparently you haven't seen many Vazquez Jr fights, cause no way in hell is Arce, who's jumping up 2 divisions, going to bully Vazquez Jr who's huge for 122 and well IMO is the biggest puncher at that weight, as for No Contest, unlike Chavez Jr who's living off his daddy's name and fighting bums like Vanda and Duddy, Vazquez Jr actually has managed to step up to world class opposition before his 20th pro fight, unlike Chavez who's on what now? his 50th fight as a pro?, Vazquez Jr had no amateur experience either and yet he's still fighting world class guys, i'm against the Arce fight because as you'll see come fight night he's going to blow him away, and well it's probably gonna be brutal

don't be shocked to see Vazquez Jr being bigger than Lopez in about 2 or 3 years

Had to bring this thread back in light of the current state of the super-bantamweight division and the fact that Nonito has recently moved up to attempt a coup d'etat of Arce's title. If this fight does get set, who do you think will win and will it be as easy for Nonito as he confidently suggests? Jorge has shown his fangs are still sharp and he still has a beast in him after he mauled Vasquez Jr. Is Arce in the most danger of his career? Or will Nonito's over confidence be his downfall?

Oh, and PSL's Arce vs Vasquez prediction was right on the money! LOL^^^
    Respect.

Yeah I gotta say that Nonito still has this, however if he was to move up to fight Arce without taking on at least the winner of the Mares-Agbeko bout then I have to call foul. Just my opinion but that one and done $hit isn't enough to claim a division no matter who you beat.
If you think you can......you can, if you think you can't .......you're right!

Lopez and Vazquez sure do have a lot in common. Besides both being Puerto Ricans who were some what over hyped. Both were undefeated fighters who lost there 0 to Mexican vets that they were suppose to destroy. Both suffered TKO losses in which somebody had to saved them. There damn near twins.

Ahh I can't help but enjoy this after all the shit I listened to before and after the Mayorga Cotto fight.

    SOMETIMES Puerto Rican fighters lose.

Just not when Mayorga is fighting them
