sure shavers had tremendous power...how many times did his fights go the distance??....6 times Marciano-6 times how many times did Shavers get TKO/KO'd 7 TIMES Marciano 0 times.......I think it comes down to who gets the first big shot in.....Marciano wins by KO in 8 rds.....Tommy Hearns was arguably the greatest boxer/puncher ever but no chin......if you got to him first or had a great chin to just get ahold of him you could beat him......the chin never lies...and if you think Shavers beats Marciano you're lying to yourself.....

Another problem with The Acorn is that he punched himself out regularly...Rocky prided himself on his stamina and ability to go the distance.
