Donaire vs Moreno in talks for May 28

I heard about it last week. Decided to sit back and see how it plays out. So far it looks good. The fact that Moreno's up coming defense against Lorenzo Parra looks to be off just about makes this fight a go.

Good news if it happens. I guess Donaire is making up for lost time since it took him 3 1/2 years to fight an elite opponent in Montiel after Darchinyan.

If I'm not mistaken whoever wins this fight will be lineal champ of the division.

Donaire is a better fighter in every department.

He can out work him, I guess. Moreno is not a bad fighter. Problem for him he's good in a lot of things. But he isn't great at any thing. I see this fight as 80-20 Donaire going in.

Moreno is definately a sound boxer, he will last longer than Montiel who made a huge mistake leaving himself open and attacking Donaire. I expect Moreno to play defensive counter puncher, which should buy him into mid rounds at least. Moreno is also a bit taller than montiel who is 5'4" Moreno is about as tall as Donaire, he wont have to lunge in like Montiel.
