On the world scene for me ideally........
there would be one belt per weight, no interim, no super, no diamond, no silver etc just one world title belt for the one champ.
voluntaries should be made against anyone in top 25
Mandatories should be against number 1 challenger, if not possible next top available guy and so on.
This would mean the champ constantly fights the best to prove he's the best and the rest of the top guys have to fight each other in order to get in to position to get a shot. The title would more than likely change hands quite often but when we get a long reigning champ we'd know they were special and unlike what has happened before a champ can't grab loads of belts and just fight his mandatories for each body to keep his belts. - guess who
I have no problem with the junior/super weights as it is all i have known i know a lot of older fans complain but i don't really see a problem except for when a fighter jumps up or moves down and big fights are dodged but otherwise it's ok.
i know this will never happen as the different governing bodies all have their own agenda and just want to make money which would'nt be a problem if unification fights were made more.
Also i think promoters should be made to work with each other when world unifications are involved where there is a standard procedure that must be met so each party is treated fairly depending on certain criteria - ie which champ has most belts, who has reigned longer you get the jist. very wishful thinking but would save the BS that haye and klitschko put us (the wage payers) through.
LOL i'm starting to ramble on and could go on all night and breakdown every little detail but before i know it everything will start looking like common sense......and that'd never work
