Haye doesn't deserve the attention. Good or bad.

Here's a few recent quotes from the Haymaker:

"I just can't wait for that first bell to ring so I can run across the ring to stick one on his chin,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live. "Wladimir Klitschko is getting violently knocked out."

"This is an inevitable fight with an inevitable conclusion,” Haye – known as The Hayemaker – added on his official website. “Klitschko is ready-made for me. I eat tall, chinny Eastern European heavyweights for breakfast

"I have the heart of a lion, whereas Wladimir has the heart of a hyena. He cries and squeals and slips into the wilderness at the first sign of danger."

Also talk on that link the fight may occur outside Germany, and the statement comes from the Klit's camp, not Haye's. Carnt understand why Wlad would want the fight in any other country other than Germany, or of course Ukraine

    Wlad is being very quiet.

Either he is just bored of David Haye's crap and will let his fists do the talking (more than likely) or doesn't want to look silly if he is going to end up pulling out because of his abdominal injury.

    I fear the latter.

Let him run his mouth, he may start to second guess himself when the bell rings though. I've followed boxing for some time and I have yet to see someone talk their way to victory. We heard the same crap 2 years ago when this dude got a bad case of Spinal Jaundice.

This fight is going to be the epitome of schadenfreude...the more the WBA title holder talks, the more fun it will be seeing the look of shock, fear, and dispair on the WBA title holder's face when he eats his first true heavyweight power punch....though we may have to wait until he wakes back up to see that expression.

And yet he will be the one walking away with a nice big check either way.

...if he can live with being a big fraud then fine, it won't change my view, I'll still enjoy seeing him KTFO. It's win-win apparently

It appears that The Boxing Message Board Account Holder doesn't understand boxing as much as he thinks... or as usual, is letting his love of Wlad make him over look things.

How many times did we see Mike Tyson have opponents so intimated that they wouldn't throw commited punches at him to keep him at bay? How many opponents were so frustrated with Ali's antics that they would chase him all night with no care or gameplan?

Fuck... Hopkins still does it every fight.

They often had guys beat before the bell.
It may not literally win a fight... But it can make it the fight you want.

'it doesn't matter once the bell has rang' is bullshit... Once you get in a guy's head and change his temperment? Of course it matters.

Lets hope that for Wlad's sake, he isn't pissed... Haye is likely to stand a better chance if Wlad puts himself there to be hit. If he uses the safety first, negative style that he employs against even small heaviess like Sultan (yawn) then he will give Haye all sorts of problems... But if he's stupid then at least it will be an ex undisputed cruiserweight world champ and not a pro golfer sparking him out.

Comparing David Haye to Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.

    Brilliant.

Totally agree - Sugar Ray Leonard was a master at it also - he had Hagler so annoyed that he threw away the first 5 rounds of their fight.
