Who said that ? i think Shane Mosley is way past his best. He didn't look good vs Sergio Mora, and has been very hot/cold for atleast 5 years.

Just compare the Shane Mosley now, to the Lightweight version of Shane Mosley. Who was a complete fighting machine who could fight hard for 12 rounds.
A lot of Floyd haters and Pac lovers said that. Floyd fought an old, past his prime, inactive Mosley. But Pac is fighting a better version of Mosley according to them.

I'm disappointed that they haven't posted here yet to explain themselves.
You sound like Milfagcaras. "They said this, they said that".
Do you think Shane is shot or not now that he's facing Pac?

So was Hatton, and ODH and the rest got stopped too does not make them shot.
    Come on Master...
ODLH not only was he shot but was a fucking corpse making 145.
ODLH in his prime was a Welter that was in the late 90's.

Hatton no, Cotto no. Anyone else?

Shane was only momentarily shot, he's back now, he was playing shot. He felt sorry for Mora and even though he really won, he just didnt complain because he was getting the same money anyways...He just wanted to rock Mayweather to let him know that he could have taken him at any time......Mayweather obviously paid him off to take a dive, see how he eased up after he rocked him, he was like oh damn I might actually knock him out accidentally and lose my money.

I think Mosley was not shot when he fought Floyd. He looked slow, past his prime, and too old just because Floyd made him looked that way. It was Floyd's skill that made Mosley a shell of his former self on the ring that night.

When Mosley fought Cotto, it was also Cotto's skill that outclassed him. When he fought Margarito, he knew his skill will be perfect for Margo, and he proved everyone that its the truth.

Now he's fighting Manny, and I guess this will be an all out aggression from start to finish because both guys love to bring it on. The question is, will Mosley's skill be effective against pacman, and vice versa? That will make this fight interesting.

I'd normally agree because Floyd can do that to an opponent. But Shane was blowing out of his arse after 3 rounds gasping for air.

Mosley won't be effective against Pacquiao if he shows up with the same conditioning because Pacquiao will make Mosley move much more than Mayweather did. That's why i don't think it's an interesting fight. Shane is coming towards the end of his career. His conditioning isn't likely to get any better.

Conditioning aside, his form has been erratic for the last 4 or so years anyway. I just don't see him troubling Pacqiao at all. He could get lucky i suppose, but so could any fighter. I think he will get dominated and probably stopped on his feet.

mosley is past his prime a long long time ago. its kinda funny to see a shot mosley nearly KO pbf.

pac mosley fight will only mean something to me if pac beats the hell out of mosley. kinda like hatton pbf 10 rd tko vs hatton pac 2 rd ko or odlh pbf SD vs odlh pac 9 rd tko.

    general,

A lot of Floyd haters and Pac lovers said that

are they from saddo or pacland or some other box forum?

I guess Manny fans think Shane is not shot or past his prime.

Which Manny fans are you referring to? I don't seem to see any of them posting this.
Shane is shot when he faced Floyd and is still shot when he faces Manny. Anyone who Manny fights that does not have the name Mayweather will be questioned. So in the absence of Floyd, Manny might as well fight someone who will give him the most reward and include a notable name in his resume. Remember that he had just been in a brutal conflict with Margarito so he deserves a break (not literally). I still consider Shane as formidable. He can still be competitive with a number of the top boxers in his division.

Get dominated by Mayweather after the second round of their affair... So then what does he do? He calls out a guy that will do even more damage. Smart. Mosley is shot, gun-shy and punchy. He should already be retired. He already is having trouble annunciating his words... so why not get in the ring with an animal.

The fight should have never been made. No offense to Pacquiao. Pac will beat whoever they put in front of him but this is just another promotional farse.

... for the MONEY. This will be a very hefty retirement pay for Mosley. I still think that Shane believes he is capable of pulling an upset with one lucky punch or a few well-placed punches. Besides, when he realizes that the fight is indeed not winnable, he can always escape the carnage by doing what Barrera (in Pacquiao-Barrera II) and Clottey did.

Yes, it is. We have certain boxers that we would rather have Manny face. I prefer that he fights Berto. But we can be sure that Pacquiao-Mosley will garner more viewership and cash than anyone else (besides Mayweather). The general public prefers two notable protagonist.

Actually I feel offended that Pac would chose to fight SSM.
And his excuse is even worst.
If Arum had fed SSM to him then ok, I get it.
But Pac was given an option to chose his next opponent, he chose SSM.
If you don't wanna offend him I understand. I wont offend him either cuz I respect him.
However I give him absofucken-lutely NO CREDIT whatsover for this "beheading".
He moved up in weight and fought David Diaz I somewhat understood and gave him a pass.
He's trying out a new weight class.
    He fights ODLH fuck that.
He fights Hatton def. a sensational win.
He fights Cotto, def. a great win.
He fights Clottey, come on. But again I was like ok he just fought to of the best back to back.
He fights Tony, come on... That was his gimmie fight. Just to showcase himself. Cowboys stadium, PPV's blah! blah! blah!
Now he choses to fight SSM, come on... Seriously. SSM, seriously.
Again I respect Pac and have cheered for him. I've def. debated against him and also for him. But SSM is shot and he'll become a sitting duck once and if the fight makes it past the 5th rd.

I also thought Margarito is shot but the Tony that showed up to fight Manny is a different Tony from the one that fought Shane. That Tony would have beaten several of the top boxers in his division.
Out of curiosity, who would you prefer Manny to fight after Margarito?

Totally, if Mosley wanted a shot at Manny then he should have proven himself after Mayweather and Mora. He had no right to ride into a fight with Manny. And shame on Manny for choosing to fight Mosley at this juncture.

Hey Cut, when OLDH and Pac signed to fight, I, like many other people (and the odds makers too), thought Pac would lose because ODLH was so much bigger. Now, it turns out ODLH was weight-drained, and the win doesn't look as good, but it's 20/20 hindsight to say it wasn't a good fight for Pac at the time it was made. It also makes it tougher to discredit the win.
