Well Cliff let me tell u the word BUMMED in the uk means a different thing to in the USA.
But using the UK analogy im pretty sure Bilbo has been BUMMED out several times.

No I haven't been "bummed" in the British meaning of the term..that would bum me out.
Constant stress and disappointment in the fellow man and loneliness and desperation all take place and it is very troublesome.
I also think it is odd that I mainly confide in a bunch of britons.
