I thought he was awesome in that interview! Loved the "Johnny, do you want to sit next to James" comment, which was spot on.

    that was brilliant

though my particular fave being when george claimed james ran his trainer after he beat him in the amateurs claiming he couldnt come into the gym as he was too embarrased at getting beat

groves conducted himself perfectly, made JDG perfectly aware words meant shit to him and that this was his fight to lose

the more i think about this fight the closer i actually see it. Groves is no way gonna roll over to a man he has quite a bit of distaste for nor is he gonna fall into any of JDGs mind games
Degale is too stupid for mind games, he will rely on his talent.

Hate the fact this is PPV, you pay your subscription and then they ask for more, next it will be pay per round by Warren!!!

Groves won the argument and I hope he wins the fight. Going into it I felt James would win for sure, but knowing how cautious Adam Booth & David Haye are when it comes to making fights as business decisions, I can't believe for a second that they would allow this if they didn't believe in George's ability to win.

DeGale is trying to put on a brash persona to sell the fight but he fails embarrasingly. Hes babbling on about something then stops and says"forgotton what I was on about" so Groves just talks over him

Then DeGale offers anyone a bet that he will win inside 4. Groves instantly stands up and offers his hand for a handshake on the bet and DeGale very quickly back tracks

DeGale has no conviction in his voice, he goes quiet and high pitched when talking his shit.

They may seem to have diffeerent levels of success in their respective pro careers but when you look closer, Groves is only 23 and has 12 fights, whereas DeGale is 25 and has only 10 fights. Also, id rate Kenny Anderson a more dangerous opponent than Smith. Isnt Smith just a middle really?

I dont realy care who wins but Groves seems the more genuinly confident of a win.

Oh, also, I liked the comment Groves made about DeGale looking like a horse because of his long face and he did an impression taking the piss out of James right in front of him
