Laws regulating alcohol are pretty local in the U.S. There are still counties in Texas that are dry. Oklahoma regulates the alcohol content in its beer. Some cities in Texas bars serve till 2AM others it varies by the day. So on and so forth.

Heres some pictures of the Rockmount at Cobo in Guernsey. Right on the coast road, brilliant in the summer!

Also, in Guernsey as well as a load of other pubs, we have the closest pub to a church, maybe in the world. There is a gargoyel that hangs out the top of the St Peter Port town church that is only a few inches away from the Albion

Question for the UK/Europe crowd,
I got a good friend that is always looking for business investments. Everytime we drink beer together he tries to convince me to get out of the Army and open ethier a saloon style bar similar to the ones I posted or a really over the top Texas BBQ joint either in the UK or in Europe. Basically he is a money guy and needs someone with experience running bar/restaurant establishments, which I did previously. He is convinced these type of places would make a killing. You guys think these types of places would be popular? I'm not going to partner with him anyway just curious if there really is a market for this style of bar/restaurant.
