Nah, a lot of people on here think he faked it from start to finish. I think he was hurt by the shot in the fight and really couldn't continue without feeling seriously disadvantaged. Brain injury talk probably came about as he tried to overstate the injury so that people wouldn't think he was just trying to get out of the fight. He has definitely generated some strong bitter feelings that usually are reserved for boxers people don't like but manage to achieve more than those fans would like to think they are capable of.
