Jack Dempsey - 3 years without a fight ?!?

yes i know about the movies exhibitions and travelling.

was a bit tipsy last night when i wrote this. Wasnt really having a go at Dempsey directly just amazed that the set up at the time meant he didn't have to defend for 3 years.

Different times I know but come on 3 years !

There's a lot of thing you can read up on Dempsey's career which make you wonder exactly why he was rated so highly. I gotta be honest, I never ever consider him when I think of Great Heavyweight Fighters, Boxers or even Champions.

yeah know what you mean I don't either - but recognize that foe his era he was a monster
