he just did nothing for all of rd 3 and just started smiling when he was taking punches at the end, not bothering to throw back

its almost like pirog starts to throw a punch and just gives up half way through and just kind of taps maciels guard lightly by the time his punch gets there

thing i do like is he doesn't really waste punches, and is constantly making sure to keep his range since he has the longer arms, and has nice digging body shots

Maciel's workrate has already gone down, most likely cause of the body shots and well Pirog is just outworking him, and even if he doesn't connect solidly on the body or head he bangs on his arms, IMO he hurt him at the end of the 5th, but if they build him back up i don't think that a rematch with Jacobs is out of the question

Pirog works the body nicely, and has a sneaky left uppercut on the inside, but from what i'm seeing Martinez schools him, he's too easy to hit and Martinez has the foot speed and movement to avoid his shots
