Hatton ofcourse. He excelled himself to the point where he get to fight the two of the world's best - Pacquiao and Mayweather.

Hamed somehow only fought the #3 p4p Barrera.

Exactly what I was going to say! Find me a win on Hamed's resume that matched Hatton's over Tszyu.

Potential though, I think Hamed was the better fighter and could've reached a higher P4P ranking but you don't get that unless you actually fought your way to it.

In terms of achievement Hatton all the way, in terms of potential for greatness, NAZ.

Official P4P no.1 where? Naz was in The Ring's top ten P4P through the late 90s into 2000 not no.1 though.

This is a borderline mismatch. Hatton was absoulutely made for the Naz fella. Prime Naz wins by devastating sparkage in three.

    AS for records -

Naz beat the lineal and WBA champ Vazquez (stripped at last minute for making unification match instead of mandatory). Also took the WBC, IBF and WBO titles. During his reign beat 9 "world" champions. P4P top 10 rated. Lost on PTS to an all-time great.

Hatton beat the lineal and IBF champ Tsyzu. Also took the WBA title. During his reign beat 5 other "world" champions. P4P top ten rated. Lost by KO to two all-time greats.

Hatton has the most high profile victory - Kostya. Naz was by far the more dominant champion.

    Naz over Hatton everytime. Fact.
    3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

just looked back through Ring ratings and highest I can find him is no. 6 May 2000.

Not doing this to prove you wrong fella but was just curious myself as to how high he did actually get. Of course there may have been some other body that ranked him higher but no way would I ever have put him in top 5.

I guess it must of been another body but bloody sure of it though, anyway he was dominant in his wins and I know he didn't fight Barrera and morales but they didn't fight him either. He did have belts and I truely believe he vacated to eliminate travelling. Barrera was a different breed but I do reckon he would beat morales. I'll try and find the old magazine in loft and if I'm wrong then I'm wrong

Yes you are right mate , Hamed was p4p number 1 for a while , the publication was as follows :

The Wonderful , magic boxing publication LTD ,
they were based on Lollipop lane , in magic land , the editor was Mr Happy , and he drove a carriage pulled by beautiful white unicorns.

Hamed was p4p better, his punch power was off the scale and he cleaned up a good division until he met a great in Barrera.

Hamed. Easily. Hatton never beats Tszyu without his tag team partner Dave Paris.
