Not well at all. Completely different levels. Butterbean fought a very aged Larry Holmes and got beat in what I begrudgingly call his prime (the fat bastard). If he was to fight a prime George Foreman I would put everything I own on not hearing the bell to end the first round and a reinforced stretcher being needed to carry Esch from the Arena, fighting for his life may I add.

I once listened to a radio show where they discussed Foremans power and they asked a doctor how an everyday man who doesn't train his neck muscles to take big punches etc off a pro boxer, would go on if Foreman hit them and the doctor just basically said that their neck would more than likely be broken. That is some seriously frightening power.

I don't disagree but with Homes it was his one and only ten rounder. To my knowledge, I don't think he's ever been KO'd. I don't know if he could keep out of the way of Foreman's right and still be standing at the end of 4 rounds. In a very ugly way he kinda fought like old George in that he just kept slowly coming looking for a way to connect.

He got KO'd by a total nobody on the undercard of De La Hoya - Leija. It was the first time i'd ever seen the disgrace and I just remember him staggering all over the place!

    Found a video of it.

Just imagine if an elite fighter like George Foreman was lading those punches. He would have been out cold and in serious trouble no doubt.

It was a stoppage not a KO. I don't think he's ever been Knocked out.

The guy was a mostly crap as far as boxing skill but he was very very tough. He's so big, I think there must be fat surrounding his brain.

Oh come on. He was out on his feet here. Had the ref not stopped the fight he would have been flat on his back KO'd. It's ok not being KO'd off shite in 4 rounders but there is not a chance he would last more than a round against an elite HW boxer with supreme power like Foreman.

Honestly, I don't think Butterbean would have gone a full round against anybody, regardless of weight, that wasn't afraid of him. I may be wrong but I can't recall ever seeing him take a punch that it didn't at least shake him. Nearly decapitated that wrestler on a WWF ppv.

Ali could have pummeled him for four rounds and I'm not so sure he'd wouldn't be still standing. There were HW's that pretty much did, but had to be very careful cause if he hits them with his weight behind it, they were going down. His size commands respect. George would not have been immune. I'm am in no way saying he'd win but George's ain't no giant so he couldn't just rush in. It would have to be a timed shot. I'm just saying I'd like to have seen it.

Damn straight. A 53 year old Larry Holmes, called Butterbean a "Fat slob impersonating a fighter" in his book, butterbean got mad and called Larry out, Larry answered the call then proceeded to completely out box fat ass for 10 rounds !

Foreman or Tyson would have absolutely slaughtered Butterbean. Brutalized the man.

And as you said, they would more than likely kill an average man if they hit them.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
