A mate at work is going through a similar thing at the min. He pleaded not guilty in the magitrates court,( he is out on bail and not on remand ) and now is due in crown court at end of this month, he is charged with section47 abh, he just punched a lad once in town one night, the other bloke was been a tit, my mates asian and the lad was been racist towards him, so he simply jabbed him, but KO'ed the lad and bust his jaw.

He's worried he may go down, we keep telling him he'll be fine. Reading your story I guess he'll get a fine or community service also.
