Yeah he just could not find a comfortable range either. He was looping his punches more than he ever has. He is an example of a fighter falling in love with their power. He was loading up instead of making things happen. Rubio, just sat back, weathered his storms and waiting for Lemieux's fire to settle a tiny bit. He then started opening up. Once Lemieux started backing up, he was already done.
I agree 100%. Lemiuex's punches were just ridiculously wild at times. He really needs to settle down in there.
They fed Lemieux too many softies early. They placed him against Rubio, who i always considered underrated. He is a crafty Vet and knows how to fight. As you said Lemieux simply grew frustrated, got wild and ran out of gas. He could rebound well from this. I hope so because he is an exciting fighter.
