What do you mean by front lines exactly? I've worked with lots of women in combat, sometimes even under fire, but the combat arms jobs (infantry, artillery, armor, cavalry) are strictly male. Are you just asking if they should be able to be around combat or serve in what have been only male roles?

I dont know. I wouldnt want my females relatives out there on or behind enemy lines,
if they get captured it doesn't bear thinking about / the sexual abuse they would be put through could be worse than death or standard torture for them.
Ok think I've just talked myself into a NO.

I don't know actually.. I assumed front line meant combat... I think i've seen both headlines this week... "Women on the Front Line" "Women along side men in combat"
But yep, asking whether could be leading the charge in battles along side men... Going door to door through Fallujah an such.. Would you feel any different having a female with you in that sort of situation? And perhaps overall as a part of your squad which is ready for action, having a female there in amongst it..

I think racial and sexual work laws put individual rights above effectiveness and am thus against.
In all careers, workplaces, universities etc the jobs/places should go to those best able to do the job effectively.
If a man had the same physical makeup as a woman he would be rejected for failing his fitness test, and being too weak and small.
Thus I think it should be all men.
Gender equality laws just fuck things up. Instead of being given positive discrimination to enable them to have business or military careers women instead should be working in jobs such as teaching.
It's a sad fact now that most teachers now were actually in the bottom third performance wise of their own universities, the better students pursuing higher paid legal careers for example.
if women weren't given such a leg up in these careers they would instead be going into more traditional careers such as teaching which would massively improve our society, better teachers improve results and lead to a more effective nation and economy.
Instead we have them doing jobs they can't do as well as men in the name of gender equality.

I have no issue with females serving and being in jobs that put them at the front lines. I would be against making the combat arms branches (infantry, armor, artillery, cavalry) co-ed. Some things just work better w/o the complications of the opposite sex being involved. That being said if women are ever allowed to serve in these type of units the standards must be across the board. They must have to be able to do everything the men are required to do and to the exact same standard.
