Ward to ko froch in 8?

Very ugly fight in my opinion, both me tend to be dirty, Froch takes a while to get started and Ward is just messy though effective. Ward will win points early while Froch will look for a way to fight at a distance so he can score points but will more then likely find himself spending most of the bout looking to create distance.

I pick ward by decision. Carl is a bit tougher then Ward and can absorb Wards power punches all night.

No way, Ward doesn't have the power to KO Froch. I think he'd take a UD, a fairly close but clear one, but I don't think he stops him at all. I'd love for Froch to beat him though and I wouldn't rule him out completely

Froch likes skilled, slick boxers who use their head as a battering ram and hold more than a prime Ricky Hatton? I like Froch a lot, but Ward is all wrong for him IMO.

I hope Froch get dirty with him like he did with Dirrell, that is the only way he will win, for Ward to lose his cool. Punch him in the balls, Froch.

Froch is most susceptible when he faces a good counter puncher. I follow boxing closely but one fighter I know little about is Ward.

Froch is supremely confident and is mentally as good as any fighter today.

If it turns ugly then Froch's hands will go up but if Ward sticks and moves without giving Froch a chance to get involved then he gets the decision with a minimum amount of ugliness.

Excellent post. Abraham clearly can't counter-punch. Ward is like a young B-Hop.

Maybe once you've had a look at some Ward fights you can see where his mistakes might be for Froch to capitalize on?
