He was so explosive early on in his fights and that Tyson could easily sustain the attack.

If someone like Ali or Lewis rode him out for 3 rounds he'd surely nick it on points due to punches thrown.

To be honest it'd take at least 2 rounds to weather the storm.
Talking about 12 round tourny fella
helps to set the rules before you start asking such questions H otherwise you might as well just start your boxing organisation with this chopping and changing crap.

I think Louis or Ai have got to be the favorites. The thing about those two is I'm not really sure we saw either's absolute best. Ali didn't fight from age what? 24-27? And Joe Louis at what 27 just about stopped fighting for 2-3 years due to WWII. A scary thought.

The other guy who leaps to mind who would have been a monstrously tough out on his best night? Sonny Liston.

Here's my dark-horse candidate...Jack Sharkey. Ray Arcel said that, on his best nights, Sharkey was the best HW boxer he ever saw, and he saw them all 1917-1990.

Well his record was -wins 37 (13) -losses 13(3) -draws 3.

including a 3 round ko loss to Louis , a 6 round ko loss to Carnera.
so what makes you think he could beat Ali / Lewis / Tyson / Louis / Klitchko etc ?

Not much this morning when I'm less bored and thus less argumentative.
