Sciatica caused him to collapse? That doesn't seem right. I understand the problems a long flight can cause (both sciatica and dehydration leading to a clot or a collapse) but pain in the leg causing collapse?

The bigger problem (as a sciatica survivor) is that it reflects a disc problem and those don't go away quick.

Oh well, I was hoping we'd have a little boxing action this weekend, but it's not gonna happen. The next 'high level' fight will be Manny vs Shane May 6th, just because it's Pacquiao fighting it should be fun to watch. Not enough fun to watch it on PPV however, i'll likely catch it on a stream or the replay.

This is tuurible as Charles Barkley would say. Was really looking forward to this event and match. Hope its nothing more serious with Agbeko as he's pulled out in the past with hepatitis and such.

I dont think they should scrap the card at all. Fill the spot with another match and have two quality cards. Darchinnyan and Perez and fit to go and should not have to wait. Btw is it me or does Vic look like he's bulked up big time?

Al Berstein said today that Showtime will still air Darchinyan and Perez saturday night, i'm not sure if they'll have another fight besides this, at least it's a little boxing for us fans.

Okie dokie, no Agbeko-Mares, but Vic Darchinyan and Yhonny Perez are scheduled to fight tonight, "Ugly Vic" usually puts on a good show and so does Perez. The fights start on Showtime tonight beginning at 10:30 PM EST here in the states. I've got a couple bottles of Shiner Bock chillin' down in the 'fridge.
