Wow...this is what the hidden board has come to. Am I the only one who has noticed that somehow, some fucking way every thread has some sort of religious or political tone to it. I remember when this board use to be for fun (and porn...lots of porn) and now its really a political/religious battle ground.

I stopped logging in for the site's boxing expertise a while back. Its the comical and sometimes absurd back and forth between Bilbo and Miles with a sprinkling of posters like Lyle, Andre, Nameless, Master, VD and dare I say Hornfinger that keep me coming back

I don't think the site has been particularly taken over by politics or religion anyway. You just need to look at the thread titles on the first page. When was the last time I started a proper political thread? I'm tempted to do it all the time, but choose not to because I don't want to dominate the board. Most of my recent threads are extremely trivial and they are designed that way. The new superman one is just a joke too.

I stay here because I think it's fun too. The interaction makes me laugh and even if I am posting something serious I regard it as a challenge and that too is fun. Bilbo keeps me on my toes. Maybe Snakey is just having a bad day, because at the end of the day the contents of the board consist of what anyone posts. If you don't contribute to the discourse you can't really blame it for not having the content that you want.

This place is just as fun as it has always been for me.

That's what gets me, to have a poster who hardly ever posts anything these days just to interupt a conversation to say he's not happy with what we are talking about is very rude and rather ridiculous.

Imagine doing that in real life, he would not be a very popular chappy with that kind of attitude.

Plus we contain our back and forths to each other's threads largely. There is a football thread on this board for example and I've never even clicked in there, not really interested in football so I don't care. But I would never go in to it and moan about posters always talking about a particular team or player for example. It's their discussion not mine. I'll just stick to spamming your threads

Yeah, you would think people would know what to expect by now. If it is a thread of yours or mine, you pretty much know that we will be winding each other up about something or other and that it might turn to creationism or Israel or one our other pet issues. To come into the thread and get angry about it would just be a bit silly. What else were you expecting?
