if you are a journalist and you work for ESPN, you should be able to ignore whatever comes out of the mouth of Shannon Briggs. Briggs never could be accused of being the sharpest tool in the shed, his career is effectively over, and he is bitter.

Nah. There's a difference between insults and accusations. If Briggs were to say he don't know shit or just call him a fat fuck. Than yeah the smart thing for Rafael to do would be ignore it. Hmmmm, I don't know about "blind hatred", we've got good reasons for not liking the fat fuck, he's a good enough "reporter", but in my view, he's just not well liked by most of the boxing community, mainly because he's a full of himself, bias, baffoon. Are you his mother?
