I just hope he captures that 4th title...
If anyone has ever really deserved it, it's him.
He would catapult his ATG'ness in the top Mexican boxers ranks.

But it is BS! JMM has won ONE real title. The rest are just straps. In historical comparisons they means squaddouche in my view.
How can one say if he wins a strap at 140 say it means something in comparing him to say Ruben Olivares who was THE MAN at both 118 and 126? There was no 115 or 122 divisions at the time either. or JCC who was THE MAN at 135 and 140?
I think, in fact Mexico is still awaiting it's first true three division champion (in the sense Ross, Fitz, Armstrong, Floyd, Manny and Canzoneri were).

If I get a vote? It'd be Manny at 135. Second vote? Manny at 140.

if Marquez does fight Manny he better not make the same mistake he did against Floyd. He weighed in at 142 and weighed around 147 or 148 on fight night (my memory could be going). Only a few pounds above what he has weighed when he goes into the ring for his lightweight fights (normally unofficial weight around 144 or 145).
Should a few pounds have made him look bloated and slow? No, but for Marquez it did. He needs to walk into the ring against Pact the same as he does when he fights at lightweight (144 or 145). He'll only be giving up a few pounds to Pac (who normally weighs around 147-148 in the ring).
Marquez vs Pac-a lightweight vs a junior welter (yes Pac fights at 147, but he barely reaches that going into the ring while normal welters (berto-156 in the ring) and good size welters like Ortiz (161) in the ring).
