Boxing doesnt need another blemish on it, margarito already gave it one with his scandal he doesnt need to add another with a severe injury or death in the ring.
He took a severe beating and now may be forced to retire from it.

This isn't a blemish on the sport as you put it, he took a beating (like a man) and may have to retire. That's the risk when you step into a ring. It's happened to many others but this time some people can smile at his misfortune. So what? Each to their own.

By the way, I don't know why you keep mentioning death, no one has said they want him to die. I think you're being a little dramatic.
Well I think its pretty stupid that everyone is pissed coz Margarito could of SEVERELY injured someone with loaded wraps....yet your all so happy that he has been severely injured. Remember Margarito didnt kill anyone with loaded wrap neither did he hurt them badly enough to end a career so what you guys are asking for seems like over kill.

Dont hear anyone bagging tito for his wraps?

I mention death because these things can lead to that, the way people are talking it sounds like people wouldnt mind if it happened to margarito.
he didn't but came very close to ruining Miguel Cotto's career in a fight that IMO he did use them in, and just cause he didn't manage to do so doesn't erase the fact that he didn't give a fuck at the thought that he could have done just that, so fuck the cheating fucker

and as for the Tito remark, Trinidad NEVER used plaster, the only drama over his wraps was that the way that Trinidad's father wrapped his hands put more gauze over the knuckles tightly instead of around his wrist, it's only illegal in NY and not in any of the other states, so if it would have taken place in CA or Vegas it wouldn't have even been an issue, lets not compare apples and oranges just to try and get your little message across

anyways to me it breaks down like this, would you feel sorry for a pedophile if he was convicted and then by chance raped by a big gorilla of a man in prison? it's called karma and Margarito deserves every bit of it
Dude....were Titos wraps illegal? Yes or no ? If so, theyre illegal for a reason. Dont pick and choose who you call cheating fucker...did Tito attempt to cheat ?
I remember an interview with Nazeem Richardson where he was talking about both wrappings incident and he clearly said that Tito did only some "abrazive" to the rules where Margarito was plainly cheating. There is a huge difference between not wrapping hands correctly or introducing some lethal material in it. Tito was more of a minor infraction where Margarito was plainly criminal.
Yeah i get that, im not saying Titos was worse...but its still illegal. You cant say one wrapping incident is fair enough and the other isnt. One may be worse than the other but in the end it they were both technically cheating. If it wasnt then why was tito pulled up for it, theres gotta be a reason why you cant do it.

Look my point is margarito shouldnt of done what he did, i have condemned him in the past for it too....but he got his arse whooping, he took it like a man...but he didnt need to get seriously injured from it. The fact that people are happy about it makes me think they wouldnt of cared if he died in the ring.

Thats its it !!! Ive said my bit, if you dont agree then thats your opinion.
again it's like comparing apples and oranges, Trinidad's wraps were not illegal in any other state other than NY, so it's a non-issue really, on the other hand loaded plaster wraps are internationally illegal in the sport of boxing, so don't get why you keep comparing the two
