great comeback by Arce, i wasn't giving him much of a chance and with good reason given how he's performed as of late prior to this fight add on he was jumping up 2 weight classes and well it really speaks highly about how relentless this little Duran of a man can be, Vazquez can hold his head up high though, he showed last night that he has the heart and desire to be a great champion, he took a risk and well it didn't go in his favor last night but he will be back, but that's what happens when real fighters take risks, it usually raises up their value win or lose, that's why Chavez Jr continues to get criticized and Vazquez is only getting praised

Had never seen Jorge Arce before. What a gutsy performance from someone who wanted to win. He gets knocked down, comes back to score a knockdown. Shane Mosley gets knocked down, he gets on his bicycle, and grabs and holds whenever possible.

They were saying during the fight last night that Arce was the most popular fighter/person in mexico, that's pretty amazing considering how many other fighters/entertainers there are in mexico.

Nice to see the little warrior pick up a 3rd title, I bet he made a ton of new fans last night, and his stock has risen through the roof.

I knew "Travieso" would pull through and overwhelm Vasquez Jr. As my father said during the fight, "Vasquez is just a young kid in a war with a battle scarred vet." Despite coming up two weight classes, Arce proved how devastating experience and toughened skin can be. As for WV2, it was a valuable learning opportunity and he will come back much stronger. Fight of the night.

Gotta love Acre's hug at the opening of the 12th* round; bad intentions or not, it was skulduggery at its finest.

How can you not love a boxer like this. He doesn't have the elites skill but man he makes up for it in grit, determination, heart and persistance. This guy leaves it all in the ring almost every fight.

I suppose I'll have to catch a rerun of this fight and I always liked the Wayne Arce handled himself in the ring. He also seems to be a good guy even when he wears the black hat.
