I watched the Floyd-Chico fight for the first time in several years last night and it saddened me. THAT Floyd was nothing short of magnificent. He fought smartly and with passion and skill and he had taken a daring fight. THAT guy had a chance to be one of the 10 most accomplished fighters who ever graced the sport in my estimation. Instead? He spent a decade fighting too little and too often not the optimal guys.

The saddest words remain what might have been.

Now this is freaky because I looked at this fight last night in bits and pieces. I remember the fight well enough though and thought to myself the same thing you probably did...."Where is this Floyd at now?" And what bothers me more is the fact that if this fight would have taken place when it was originally suppose to Floyd would not have been as much of an underdog vs Pac as he was vs Corrales. People forget that Corrales was quite the favorite in that fight due to the size advantages. And the longer Floyd waits and sits around being inactive the worst it is for him.
If you think you can......you can, if you think you can't .......you're right!

Floyd was a 4/7 fav v Corrales never for one minute was he an underdog. He was a slight favourite to win.

He is also currently the slight favourite v Pac.

Sorry edit that not 1/4 I mean to put 4/7 but he was a fav for this fight not the outsider.

Yeah u are right with the Corrales fight.... I stand corrected. I do remember alot of the experts being worried about the size disparity but you are right he wasn't the betting underdog. As for Pacquiao vs Mayweather I assumed that Pac would be the favorite because it seems that every article I read or radio interview I listen to seems to have some "expert" saying Pac is the favorite. Granted I don't follow boxing like I used to the fact that Mayweather is the favorite legitimately susprises me. BTW thanx for not being a douche about correcting me

Man I guess I wasn't paying attention to the oddmakers for that fight. I thought Chico's size would be a huge problem for Floyd and while I wasn't shocked Floyd won, the sheer dominance and majesty of that win shocked me at the time.

I also think Floyd is a pretty heavy favorite against Manny at this point. Of course since I had Manny losing to Diaz, Hatton, Oscar and Cotto, my oddsmaking can probably be ignored.

Pac won't take the test. This is why the Floyd camp is coming out with "Take The Test" t shirts. Once the pressure is finally put on Pac then the Pactards won't be able to use Floyd as a scapegoat and blame him or claim Manny agreed. Manny aint agree to shit.

You can stop using HGH for one day, just one day, and you can be clean in any test. They can use EPO one day and then it can be gone by noontime the next day. All the drugs are different, all have different windows (for detection). All we can do is to keep upping the ante, making the tests more random and stronger.

He also claims that Pacquiao has switched from using steroids, to now using a complex mixture of HGH (human growth hormone) and insulin, a combination that is virtually undetectable in post fight drug tests.

    HGH is now detectable.
