Amazingly Sugar Ray Robinson fought Henry Armstrong albeit late in Armstrongs career, not a well known fact.

That's a great shout.

The 2 greatest p4p boxers IMHO fighting each other.

It's just a shame that Armstrong was past his best.

Then again, I don't think he would have been big enough to beat a great big welterweight like Robinson anyway, but it would have been interesting to see him try.

Armstrong hit a great run of victories when he won titles at nearly 4 weight at the same time but before that and after he was ordinary.
