so true. How hard is it to have support for the things you say. No you don't have to prove something by standards that are seen in court rooms (clear and convincing evidence, beyond a reasonable doubt, preponderance of the evidence).

We are in the court of public opinion. People can believe what they want without alot of evidence.

Why would NSAC admit their testing is inadequet?

If they did and made blood testing compulsory in that state all the mega fights would go elsewhere to avoid testing and Las Vegas would loose a rediculous amount of revenue. Of course they're going to side with their cash cow. It's a no brainer.

It would look bad for the sport if all the boxers participating started failing tests especially if their cash cow was one of them.

Take the Pacquiao tinted glasses off for two seconds and look at the bigger picture of why they came to the conclusion they did.

I completely agree with your first thought. I have no idea why it is Manny's job to make this happen nor do find it fair to single him out by name. Want to single someone out? Single out the guys who have failed drug tests, James Toney, Roy Jones, Richard Hall, Orlando Solido, guys like that.

As far as being in the dark ages, if you think WADA is effective, you're nuts. The cheaters are so far ahead of the testers it isn't funny.

Why is it unreasonable to take the following facts

1) Manny has never failed, nor failed to take a required drug test
2) Other fighters have been caught with the current tests
3) Other fighters, notably Shane Mosely have beaten the current tests
4) NSAC (or their equivalents in other states) govern this issue according to their best lights
5) WADA's HGH test has caught a single person out of many thousands tested
6) WADA never caught Marion Jones (among others) and is likely ineffective
7) Manny has accomplished nothing of meaning that hasn't been done before in eras before steroids
and a belief that many world class athletes are doping

And conclude the following.
1) Manny has followed the rules
2) There is no reason Manny should be singled out
3) That the testing process should be changed sport-wide
4) That is rightly the responsibility of NSAC and their equivalents
5) That it is unjust to single out a specific fighter without evidence
6) That passing WADA tests in no way proves someone is clean (see Marion Jones)
7) There is a possibility Manny is doping

The same people that sell the tests to WADA and the Olympic committee have suggested that there is nothing wrong with the tests and perhaps the reason they haven't caught the athletes is that they don't want to.
