One of the best hours of tv I've I've ever seen.

I love the brutality of it it all, Tyrian smashing that hill wairrors face in with a shield, the Hounds brother hacking off his horses head, Jiame stabbing Ned guard through the eye!

What an epic epic episode that was.........

And the dragon skull. How cool was that!
When the Mountain hacked off the horses head, I have to say I didn't see it coming. This is definitely shaping up to be one of the best shows of all time. Ordered the books directly following that last episode, but I think I'm going to wait until the season is over to start reading.

Ouma have you used HBO GO? They have next weeks episode on it.

So I finished the first book and started the second. I'd say they're doing a great job of condensing the story while staying true to the feel. My wife is doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the characters and locales, and she usually doesn't go for this kind of story.

Can't wait to see the rest - do you think they'll finish the first book with season one?

Supposedly it's a one book per season ratio.

Solid. I don't think I'm giving anything away when I say everything has been just setup to this point.

I was wondering how they'd show the Vale. CGI all to hell but that's to be expected with a TV budget. In the books its amazing, at the very tip of this huge mountain and there are little castles all the way up the mountain. And it makes you realize there's absolutely no way for an invading army to really capture it.

At first I thought they made Catelyn's sister and her son a bit too creepy. But in retrospect, not really. He was a 7 year old breast feeding in the books too.

And oh yeah I wasn't sure about the actor playing Littlefinger at first but I like him now.

Its great, most shows have the one ultra devious sneaky character and here you have loads, but especially two great ones, Varys and Littlefinger.

I still havent made my mind up on the traitor over the sea Ser Jorah Mormont. I don't know if he's good or bad yet. I'm hoping he turns out to be awesome, like an exiled Lancelot but my hopes are nott high.

Loving this series though, may well start the book tonight.

I don't think I've ever been this addicted to a show before. I'm counting the days until episode 6. I haven't really been participating in this thread because I'm afraid to come across some spoilers. Are there any in here?

I've decided I'm going to buy the books too. I was going to just take them out of the library, but as of this moment I would be 68th in line

I love how we are all being such uber nerds together. Not since the Clan Wars has there been such gay frivolity on these boards. I'm proud to be a part of it..

Anyone else think that Prince Joffrey looks like a young, Aryan leftylee?

What I originally thought was freaky from the latest episode was that like, 10 year old kid breastfeeding from the lady's boob...

But now I just think how awesome it would have been for the kid acting it to get to suck on a grown lady's boob!!! lucky bastard..
