Haha interesting, I don't know where them papers get there info from but he is not from Salford, but fair enough you hve done a good job there with the papers, I have spoke to Brodie alot and he is from Miles Patting I know exactly where he grew up, wiki ok not the be all and end all has him from Manchester not Salford.
Also mate sorry to say Jamie Moore in 2003 was the first man from Salford to lift the British title for 98 years when he won it v Michael Jones how would that be the case if Brodie was from Salford?

brodie definately has some ties with salford, he was in the advertiser regularly as a salford fighter
i have seen him around the place too (sainsburies and B&Q to be precise)
