Dawson needed to work on controlling distance, he smothered his offense by leaning in too much. If he can keep Diaconou (sp?) On the end of his punches he may have more power than we expected.

Dan Rafael says he talked with Manny and that judging by Manny's attitude Dan didn't think they had a good camp...it'll be interesting to see.

I think these series of fights will see Dawson rise back to the top of the 175 division. He'll beat Diaconu and I think he beats Pascal or Hopkins in his next fight.

I tend to agree, having Manny in his corner has got to be a plus, I don't however think that going 12 boring rounds with Diaconu is going to tell us much, he needs to do something impressive.

Manny said Chad had much more power on his punches when he had proper distance. IMO if Chad is going to KO anyone he needs to add in a solid uppercut.

That unseen yeh...one that had Pascal out on his feet for a minute but Chad didn't pounce.

At range he looks good tonight, just step up tempo and he's stopping him here

I'm amped up on this card.

All I ask is NO shit decisions or NC....clean clear frenetic action. Ding ding.

Dawson rough dec win or tko cuts late rounds on Diaconu.....Hopkins via school master win

Chad Dawson vs. Adrian Diaconu is up first, let's hope it doesn't go 12 boring rounds, like many of Dawson's fights do, the fighters are in the ring, and the action is just starting.

Not much love for Dawson in Montreal. hahaha
