Thats the problem, there are not many left his own size. At 160, maybe Strum, Cotto doesn't want that fight at 154 and Canelo is too green. At 168 all the noteworthy opponents are in the SS aside from Bute who is now Showtime, not sure when Martinez deal with Hbo is up. Like Marble said, not many options between 147-160. Maybe Kessler or Dirrell..?? I don't think we have to worry about it though, Mayweather and Pac want no part of Martinez.

Alex Ariza is the only guy in team Pac that is enthusiast to have Pac move down to 135.

Pac vs Martinez would be more entertaining than Martinez vs Floyd.

Pac fought Marga for the 154 title so theres no reason why he cant face Martinez at the same weight unless he just belives Martinez is better than Marg and too big a risk.

A fight I wana see is Marg vs Martinez. Revenge for the 2000 fight. Marg deserves a thrashing and I know he got two against Shane and Pac but Sergio right now would convince him never to fight again with the punishment he would put on him.

Love martinez and always has come off as a great guy even when getting jobbed, but calling out current welters is just silly. I know where he's coming from he's trying to get the big money fight but it's not happening. He's to big of a risk for pbf or pac (both lose to sergio iimo) with not enough financial reward. Clean out the division then go to germany fight felix for a decent payday and move north to beat ward or bute and call it a day as a hofer at that point.
