I think mentally Cotto has the advantage, he's thinking Margs only beat him because of the wraps. Margs will come in trying to prove it wasn't the wraps, and it should make for a great fight.
Nicely put. It should be a savage, brutal fight.

Cotto will get beat again. Margarito always had the style to beat him. Cotto fans were accusing Margarito of loading gloves in that fight but fail to see that Margarito took all of COtto's punches like nothing and walked through them. You can load up gloves but you can't load up a chin.

If Margarito still has his punch resistance? Cotto's in for a long night. But does he still have it?

I think Margo is too much of a shameless, confident motherfucker to be hurt by Cotto's punches.

    Margarito wins again!

The version that fought Pacquiao would definitely TKO Cotto again. now if the fight is at 154 then thats even more in favor of Margarito.

Marg has so much more stamina than Cotto w/c is the deciding factor IMO.

I think that's one thing we can safely say he still has, pac used his head for target practice for 12 rounds and never seriosuly hurt him.

    What do you mean?

Pac broke his eye socket, and he's not completely healed yet.

Many thinks the fight should have been stopped after the 10th round.

Even though Cotto is my favourite boxer, I have to agree with this.

I think Cotto will get stopped again.

    Margarito will TKO Cotto again.

I expect it will be relatively early, but even if Cotto manages to out-box Margarito for most of the fight, he'll gas like he always does and it'll be all over at that point.

I could be totally wrong, but I believe Margarito used plaster even before his fight with Cotto, his fights with Cintron come to mind as well.

Not that Tony deserves another big payday but I'd really be interested in seeing Cotto vs. Margarito II, just to see if Miguel can get some payback.

I wont argue something thats impossible to prove but repeated uppercuts and cuffing shots comes to mind? There was a fight two months ago on FNF that was stopped in the 10th round. Exact same time guys ear became grotesquely swollen at base and protruded outward. Think Slaw from the Goonies. I think a few more shots after that human hematoma and it would have shredded & looked exact same way.
