There would have to be a fair bit of that. So you go from old man Ruiz to Harrison.....to Wlad Klitschko. Haye has been all smoke and mirrors and HW and he knows it. That's why the retirement fund was boosted before finally having to face the music that is Wlad. Now it's time to cash the chips and make sure the beating isn't too bad.

Just maybe he really believes he has gone up the right way and believes he is on track, but I think he would have to be seriously deluded to think that. Haye has talked his way through HW. He hasn't actually beaten anyone that a 48 year old Holyfield couldn't.

He hates Wlads style and boring tactics. At the end of the day boxing is what has made Haye his money and both he and Wlad are going to make career high money in this fight. If Wlad was an exciting fighter and was a huge PPV draw like Haye is in the UK you would be able to add another £10 million to each mans already very high purse (I think the estimate is already £20 million each).

Haye wins 4th round KO. remember that prediction.

You make some good points but I doubt Holyfield beats Monte Barrett and he wouldnt blast away Harrison either like Haye did.. Not even sure he beats Harrison..

Haye's resume at HW is pretty respectable imo. I mean, who else was he supposed to fight to prepare himself for Wlad who's head and shoulders above the rest?

People talk about how he ran against Valuev but the truth is, he did exactly what he was supposed to do against a towering giant and it would have been foolish for him to do otherwise. He showed the ability to stay composed and execute his gameplan for 12 rounds.

This is the right time for him to face Wlad..

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Grim reaper gives Holy the day off and he beats Barret

I'll jump up and down on the whole tree and say my 18 yr old niece could have beat up that Harrison.

He doesn't hate Wlad. He is trying to convince himself that he does but he doesn't. There isn't anything to 'hate' about Wladimir. He's a gentlemen outside of the ring, very intelligent, funny and respects his opponents. Even Haye couldn't contain his laughter with Wladimir's Borat impression. It's all publicity.

    i dont like wlad

and i agree with haye on one thing that the heavies division is shit and its largely because of wlad

and it isnt just his boring style that has made championship fights so shit,
-its the fact that he wants his cake and he wants to eat it in negotiations
-all his fights are in germany infront of thousands of quiet fans
-he has virtually no charisma when selling a fight
-his style is boring but not only that there is never a battle when he fights he either donminates or falls over
-related to the point a abovem but dont we love a fighter who can give some and take some? dont we look up to bravery? theres absolutely none of that with wlad
-undercards are shit full of fighters noone outside germany has heard of
-his refs all have stoopid hair cuts
-ok there isnt that much depth in the division but he never takes an risks at all with who or what or where or how he fights (I can gaurentee that he wouldnt be fighting haye if he hadnt been backed against a wall)

and there is no style or fashion of flair about anything he does in or out of the ring, boxing is show biz and he hasnt got it

the sooner he isnt champ the better for everyone
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
