I bet you Fraud's all pissed that Oscar decided to send him to hell and not fight him!!
Floyd's trying to make history but he's hasn't fought any legit champs at 140 or 147 and he probably won't at 154 either. Thats the difference between him and DLH, and its pretty ironic, that even though he has more natural talent than possibly any fighter out there today (and than DLH when he was coming up through those weights) he decides to fight paper champs to chase money around like a two dollar whore.
One thing you can never take away from DLH is that he fought the legit champs at every weight he fought in, many of them being undefeated. He didn't have to chase the money, it came to him because he was the draw. Yet he still put together fights that the public wanted.
Floyd wants his name to go down in the books, but people will remember he won a title that was completely just made up by the WBC and basically given to Gatti at 140. Then he goes up an beats an illegitimate title holder and the already twice defeated Zab Judah (just coming off a loss) who only had a title because Baldomir couldn't pay the crap titles' "sanctioning fees" Whats he gonna do now?!!
Fight Hatton? Maybe. But I have a feeling he's going to move up and fight Spinks at 154. Undoubtedly he will beat him, but what will it prove? Not a god damn thing!! Skills can only take you so far and no one can compare Floyd to DLH in terms of career accomplishments(the way floyd's is headed)
I'm not hating, I acknowledge that Floyd is the best overrall skilled boxer in the world today. But he's F****** up his own career because of his idiotic decisions and money hungry, money driven personality. He only filled a PPV because of Gatti's name!! ***** Pleeeeaaase!!
cc gotta to agree with you on your post. Everyday I am losing more and more respect for Floyd. The guy has tremendous skills but absolutely no guts. Right now he is just looking for the money and that 5th belt.
