This is disgusting, How the fuck can this fight be given the green light? SOmeone needs to get this stopped. Earl is done and could seriously get beat 60 year old Duran would of been a better opponent. SHame on Kats team taking this fight. Just check out this guy who sparked Earl out in one round a guy who hasnt ever fought past 8 round fights.

This was Earls last fight 2 years ago this fight is sick I would be ashamed if I was Katsidis.

Yeah I get how you can say a guy like Katsidis can be ashamed. Hes been fighting overseas for the past 5 yrs straight, in the last two yrs he has fought Joel Cassamayor, JMM, Robert Guerrero, Juan Diaz, Jesus Chavez, Vincente Escobedo and Kevin Mitchell, always puts on an exciting show...yeah hes got alot to be ashamed of. He couldnt get anyone to come here and fight, its been all through our newspapers. Earl was the only one keen.

Mate, no one has said that Kats hasn't taken on great opposition, but this is a disgrace. Graham Earl is a Paul Briggs kind of situation. He's not even getting any bouts here because people don't want to fight him. I've even read on another forum that the win over the journeyman that Skel posted was a lot closer & could've been a win for the other fella who staggered him. Just happened to be Earl's hometown & his promotion.

No promoter would touch him on name value over here because of fears over his safety. So think about it, people like Fat Mick & Warren are refusing to use his name value for even their weaker prospects. So putting him in with one of the top 5 LWs in the world & probably one of the 3 hardest punchers at the weight is a recipe for dragging this sport into the gutter. The only hope is that it ends very quickly otherwise we might see something horrible happen in the ring.

To be fair the same criticisms were thrown out about Eric Morales fighting Maidana and he looked pretty good..

If Earl wants to fight let him. I didn't see his fight With Castle but there was nothing in his other fights that suggested to me he's more of a health risk than Roy Jones, Evander Holyfield, James Toney etc.

If gets blown out in a round again so what at the end of the day. At least he will have had his chance and I won't be paying for a ticket so doesn't matter really.

At least Morales,Jones,holyfield and Toney were excellant fighters at one point and they wanted to try and get to that point again. Earl was never that good at his best.
