The Hurt Locker was good, but alot of military guys in the EOD dont agree with it at all. You know how Hollywood has to sensationalize everything. Most of the guys have said anyone that acted in such a reckless manner would probably not be doing that job for long. Anyways, just rewatched 2001 A Space Odyssey, and that film is too damn good. I still cant believe how great it looked for being made way back then. Awesome cinematography.

I watched the Lincoln Lawyer. It was an ok couple hours I guess, forgetabble movie for me though.

I also watched some Australian movie made on a budget of $135,000 and distributed free on the internet called The Tunnel.

Given the choice I'd rather watch that again than the Lincoln Lawyer.

I've just downloaded Sanctum and Unknown tonight.

I've been looking forward to both, but I find often when I finally get a film I've been looking forward to seeing, I don't actually feel like watching them after all.

Might stick Sanctum on though. Fancy another cave drama.

Well I've got MST3K's Parts The Clonus Horror coming up next and then another W.C. Fields movie 'International House'.

Kubrick is a favorite of mine, all his movies are at the very least visually striking and very well shot.

I watched part of a documentary on I'll Duce called "Italian Fascism in Color" (as it had color pictures and not black & white)....very interesting stuff but I had one problem with it. They said the Italians felt bad about World War I, they felt they got a raw deal in the Treaty of Versailles. Now Italy didn't get EVERYTHING they wanted but they made out pretty fucking good....better than they deserved.

'The Naked City' - decent film noir flick

'Italian Fascism in Color' - Good stuff, I had never learned much about Mussolini, but this filled me in pretty good.

    Lyle,
I get the feeling girls dont come over often to watch a movie with you...

    Anywho...
Went to see X-Men 1st class and also Kung Fu Panda 2.
X-Men kicks ass just a great film all around.
I came home and watched all the films right after.

Kung Fu Panda 2 was really funny as good as the first one.
By the way there will be a part 3.

I rewatched the 70s classic LOVE STORY starring Ryan Oneal and it got me choked up again.. Anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend it.
