He doesn't want to risk his 0 which is fair enough this late on in his career. Why take $65m to fight Manny when he can make $20-30m fighting someone like Victor Ortiz? Less money but still a HELL OF a lot of money with less risk. If he loses that 0 he loses all marketability. For the record I think he'd beat Manny but if he doesn't want to take the risk, that's up to him.

I think there are a few things to iron out before Floyd fights Manny. First, he has to go through the process involving his ex wife and all the allegations that come with it. Roger has as well to settle the case involving one of his ex protege and finally, there is the lawsuit for diffamation that Pacquiao has against the Mayweathers. Before all of that is solved, the fight is unlikely to happen.

Beside, even if that fight sounds exciting, there are so many other great potential fights that can possibly be made, we should just stop thinking about that one, Boxing doesn't only revolve around Pacman and Mayweather.

Honestly and i'm just speaking for myself here, Mayweather vs Pacquaio means 10 times more to me than any other possible fight that could be realistically made throughout the entirety of boxing.... Including David Haye vs an Alaskan Brown Bear,,, which I would love to see!

Unfortunately BOTH these fighters are complete pussies... There are a million boxers worldwide who would take this fight in a heartbeat if they were in these guys shoes... And there are several million boxing fans salivating for it...

The fact is, regardless of people saying they "agree" to this or that,,,, neither of the bastards have made any effort what so ever to put this fight together..... It's not worth talking about anymore... It's worth completely forgetting... Just like you said... Unfortunately i see this fight nagging at me for the rest of my life if it never happens..

Looks like the zero on his record is going to cost a lot more zeros.

I have a hard time believing this. I can't see Floyd turning down 65 million, i can see him turning down fighting in Singapore but not 65 million. I think there is more to this story, or Arum is lying as usual.

Yep, Arum could be lying again. If he is, then we'll hear a response from the Mayweathers very soon. If I don't hear anything from them in a week, then I'll assume that what Arum said is true.

Of course he will turn it down... it is $35 million short of his asking price ($100M).

Mosley wasn't asking Naz to stop the fight against Mayweather.
Mosley wasn't scared absolutely shitless against Mayweather
Mosley didn't claim after the Mayweather fight that he lost 3 rounds after the knockdown (doesn't remember them).

All that being said, I still favor Floyd over Pac. I think it would be a good competitive fight but Floyd has to be the favorite. Of course we have no idea what version of Floyd we will get. His legs were much stiffer against Mosley than they used to be. And that was 13 months ago. By the time a fight occurs, who knows. By the time we get Pac vs Mayweather neither guy is going to be in his absolute prime anymore. Such a travesty.

Sorry but if pac can't 'destroy' a tired, shot, old fighter in Mosely... who can't fight off the back foot.... then how the hell is he going to destroy Floyd mayweather, who is younger, faster, slicker, smarter and can fight off the back foot EXTREMELY well?
